Making a Will

Have you and your partner made a Will?  Would you rather leave your worldly wealth to the friends who have supported you through the bad times than have your blood relatives suddenly appear when you die and take everything?

If a person dies without making a Will the laws of intestacy will apply.  If someone is unmarried (and we know that the law in England & Wales does not recognise same sex relationships as counting) property passes to children, parents, brothers and sisters or other blood relations.  Even if your lover or partner lives with you they will not inherit from your estate.

Don’t let those awkward questions stop you looking after the people you love.   Talk to Rainbow Law about making a Will.
